Who Is A Man?
From A Woman’s Perspective
My dad was a man He helped my mom As much as he could In little ways and big No matter what post he occupied Which was big Still he folded clothes Cleaned up the ceiling fans Lights, switches Washed dishes when he could for her And when she got older And became demented He took care of her Like a child My dad was a man And I am proud of him Even though he never went into the kitchen To cook her any food He kept some money always In the wardrobe drawer So she could take it and spend On fruits and vegetables When the vendors came home He made sure he took her on walks Everyday when he was here At his home he built a cement path Around the garden So she didn’t have to climb Two sets of flights To go to the rooftop to take her walk He hung the clothes to dry in the ropes Out in the garden Then folded them Once they dried in the sun And put them away Where he could neatly He made sure he locked All the doors of the home Every night Before he went to bed Checked the stoves even Once she lost her memory And make mistakes And left the gas on A couple times My dad was a man By all definition He even made jokes To make us smile often And played with the children And kept the neighbors Friends And relatives happy Our home was a resting place For all who knew him My dad was a man I was always proud of He even gave away Some of his money To those relatives Who needed them And saved up For those relatives Who were so poor They’d need them later in life My dad was a good man And by all means He was a good example Of a man My dad!
A man is gentle, kind, considerate, affectionate, tender, sincere and makes sure he leaves enough for his family so they can survive him without feeling the need to go back to work or dependent on anybody else. My dad was all of that and some more to my mom and all of my family. That is my definition of what makes a man. What do you think? Peace ✌🏽

My father did none of these!! 🥲🥲
He sounds like such a kind man. You are blessed to have had such a man in your life.
