When you talk wisdom You stand in between the living and the dead You safeguard the process to stay alive And not go skiing straight to die Wise words uttered by wise men They ought to be have been something Something worthy of thinking about Something worthy of pondering Something worthy of applying Something worthy of changing us From what exists within Wisdom is not something You can buy at a market In exchange for money Wisdom is something that needs to be pursued And only the seekers will find it Whatever comes from within May not be wisdom Wisdom exists among the pearls In the deep ocean Only the ones that dare to swim And dive deep in search of it Will ever find it Only when you are ready for that For the deep dive within The vast ocean of the living among us Will you find wisdom that cannot be replaced Wisdom that cannot be exchanged For money or gold or silver or precious minerals or real estate Nada Wisdom cannot be exchanged for anything Only seekers will find it How neat is that Wisdom is only for the select few Who give up their time to seek it Wisdom is maturity Wisdom is knowledge of a different kind Wisdom is experience Wisdom comes with time Wisdom keeps you wise Wisdom makes you think Analyze and sit with anything that doesn’t align with what you have learnt through experience Until you reach the Aha moment Wisdom is like pearls Precious and one of a kind Rare and worthy every penny And helps you make the right decisions About you, your neighbor and the world Now tell me one thing And let us see if you are wise enough to answer this Do you think the ability to vote The responsibility of choosing a leader Should rest with the wise ?
