What we were
Was a definition of what ought not
Or perhaps what ought to be 
And it was either nice to us 
And not nice to them 
Or vice versa 
Doesn’t matter anymore

What we are is what does matter
What we are today is just 1% shy of a miracle 
To what we were yesterday 
Today what we are 
Will we be tomorrow?
It’s hard to know the truth 

But today
Let’s talk about today 
What we are 
Are you happy with how you turned out to be?
Are you happy with the you of today?

Me?
I think I turned out ok 
I think I am better today by about 100% 
Than what I was yesterday 

I think I am moving towards an even better tomorrow
Not that I am proud of who I turned out to be today 
I am not really 
But that doesn’t matter anymore

Coz what I am today 
I never dreamed of yesterday 
I am 100% stronger
100% bolder
100% gentler 
And wiser 
The list goes on

I am learning now
Not from books
Not from scriptures
Not from hearsay 
But from life herself 

I am learning through experience 
I am learning through investigation
I am learning through experimentation 
I am making mistakes too

But I am learning 
And I am growing 
And I standing up for myself
Doing what’s best for me

And that’s nothing short of a miracle for me
I am finally leading life how I want to be 
And I am loving it for me
And I am working towards where I want to be as well

In terms of health 
Wealth 
And wisdom 
Yes, I am nothing short of a miracle today!

Are you who you wanted to be
Are you working towards that 
Are you standing up for yourself 

And enjoying your life as well?
Is life treating you well?
If not what is stopping you from prospering 
And moving ahead in life?

Are you happy with your wife?
How about your children?
If not what is stopping you from doing what it takes to make improvements?

Are you being the cause of misery?
