United We Stand; Divided We Fall
Some real time experiences in life
United we stand divided we fall
Sometimes in life
We come across someone
That falls in love with us
And tries to tell us that
But we end up not knowing about it
For years together
Even decades afterwards sometimes
But the intuition remains
It keeps gnawing at us
Until the time ripens
And we gather courage
To find out
If it really happened as such
And then we find out
And our jaws drop!
Have you experienced that?
It happens
Life is full of surprises
Some shocks also happen
Along the way we go often
Or perhaps not
I went to meet my son one day
And almost met with an accident
Luckily nothing happened to me
But it was an experience
Something I can never forget
How panic made me press the accelerator
Instead of the brake
And I almost got cut in two due to that
But luckily my life was saved
Perhaps because of my daughter
That tiny angel who needs my presence
For some more time still
Life can be so unexpected
A routine
Almost never challenging day
Can suddenly turn deadly
Or some events or people
Can stop by suddenly
And turn it topsy turvy
Nothing is guaranteed in life
But everything is accounted for
God is not only good at math
Which never changes like science does
Or anybody’s mind
But God
He keeps account of everything that happens in our lives
You love somebody
Somebody loves you back
Doesn’t necessarily have to be the same person
You hurt somebody even unintentionally
And somebody hurts you back as well
Doesn’t necessarily need to be the same person
But you will be held accountable for that
For every hurt to hurl across space and time
Sometimes you will keep getting hurt for years afterwards
Until you realize your mistake
And apologize in real time
Then perhaps
The heat that was gathered up against you
Will melt down
And turn warm
Think about this
Peace ✌🏽

Shalini, your post feel like someone pouring out a whole lifetime in one sitting ahah~
There’s this mix of surprise, fear, love, intuition — all tangled together like real life actually is.
The near-accident part made my heart stop for a second… I’m glad you’re safe, and that your little angel still has you.
Life really does twist without warning, but you tell it in a way that lands soft.
This reflection reminds us that life is fragile, yet luminous in its unpredictability.
Love unspoken for decades becomes a quiet ache, a whisper that refuses to fade.
The near‑accident is not just panic, but a reminder of how thin the thread of existence is.
Survival is framed as grace, tethered to family bonds and the silent plea of a child’s need.
Ordinary days can fracture suddenly, teaching us that certainty is an illusion.
Yet the text insists that nothing is wasted, for God’s arithmetic holds every gesture in balance.
Love and hurt are shown as currents that ripple across time, never lost, only transformed.
Accountability becomes a form of tenderness: to apologise is to heal, to melt accumulated pain.
The essay humanises suffering as language, not punishment, urging us to listen rather than endure.
In the end, unity is not a slogan but a lived truth: attention, humility, and shared humanity.
