Thirst is a good thing Thirst means you are seeking something Something like water when you are dehydrated Something like food when you are hungry Something like love when you are sensitive to everything Something like joy when you are crying Thirst is a good thing It makes one seek It’s when you start to seek You start to make effort to find something A traveler in the desert Seeks oasis A person having disease Looks for cure and healing Thirst is a good thing It tells you what you are lacking And when you seek and you find the thing What joy it brings! Having thirst is a beautiful thing It’s how you grow up Without standing still And stagnating Thirst for knowledge Wisdom and understanding Thirst for truth Love patience perfection and peace All are good thirsts All are valid And all thirsts end up in filling Filling up to the brim with what is lacking If only we pay attention to the thirst within us And look for what will satisfy it Then thirst can take you places You have never imagined The universe will make sure of that Think about this Peace ✌🏽
