Loneliness is real But loneliness is not crippling Loneliness can be your adversary Or it can be your silent friend Loneliness in life is here for a good reason It is put in place to make you a stronger person It’s not enough to go through life in ease Ease teaches you nothing If your life is easy It’s usually one of two things Either you allowed yourself to cheat Lie and steal from others Or you have been dealt the lucky card Either way it’s not going to help you much It’s not going to make you grow So stop feeling sorry for yourself Instead think how best to make even loneliness work for you Like a tireless workhorse Gathering speed as it goes You can make loneliness Work for you in horsepower You can make loneliness gather steam You can make loneliness your friend You silent partner Your spouse in peace You can start thinking— Why is loneliness befriending me today You can allow loneliness to teach you a thing or two To know more about yourself Your strengths and weaknesses too Watch out for loneliness That cripples you Loneliness can be your best friend too It can make you shift gears It can make you understand what is life’s worth It can show you where lies your talent It can rock you in sweet melody If you allow it to carry you in sweet parody It can bring out the best in you That you didn’t even know existed It can make your life worth living And looking forward to instead Don’t allow loneliness to make your sigh in misery Instead let it do its thing and make you creative and effective Just like it did to me And let inspiration flow through me Loneliness can be your best friend Or your worst enemy It’s up to you what you make out of it Now peace ✌🏽
