What a marvelous creation it is— The Ink! It brings into existence what didn’t exist until it did its magic And what it created stays on even for centuries without changing It just remains truly faithful to its creator by being responsible and sticking to paper for the life of it until that time comes and it needs to go which many take even millennia We are also in essence like the pen which draws into existence ink on paper Our thoughts, feelings, emotions, anxieties, courage, happiness We draw them into existence Draw them out of nowhere But once there are born— Created— They remain faithful to their creator— Loyal should be the word! They sometimes get passed down through generations and are made to remain as is— Once created never destroyed Ever remaining faithful to its creator— Loyal— That’s right All drawn out of pure imagination Sometimes even luck doing its part We can even draw peace into existence just like that Now what do you wish to draw into existence today?
I like your perspective and enthusiasm about the invention, age, usage and more of ink. Where would any of us be if not for ink? I don't mean simply writers, of course. I don't need to tell you this. I'm simply agreeing. Humanity would not have evolved as it has. It couldn't have.
I hope that sometimes when I laugh for reasons no one else understands - and this can be a strength or a weakness, depending…) I cause no offense. I feel quite secure with you, you know my overly developed sense of humor. But please steer me back into my lane if I ever become inappropriate or accidentally hurtful. I would NEVER want that. And remember also, please, that not once am I ever laughing at you or your work. Usually just at my stupid plays on words and silly things.
Thank you so much Kelly. The most important point that I tried to make is that we also make impressions in our mind like ink that stays on with us for ever. So, we can make deliberate impressions instead of those that we make without thinking too much about them, like the ones we make when we get upset with some people, and store away as permanent impressions that “so and so is such and such” without carefully examining our own thoughts and feelings that led to such impressions. Whether they were valid assumptions, whether it was based on inductive or deductive reasoning and so on. Because once they are formed, they are hard to erase or write over.
I do see your point. And I thank you for pointing it out (no pun intended but, yeah, that’s kind of funny) because I did kind of miss the point. Thank you for explaining it to me. It’s a great point! (I’m sorry, can’t help myself!) (I wish my emojis were functioning. I might have you rolling on the floor by now!)
The ink sticking to paper for the life of it~ I like how stubborn it is, all quiet and permanent, like it signed a tiny contract with the page and refuses to gossip about it~
Haha! Yes! That’s how our thoughts cling to us, refusing to let go even after we realize how wrong we were to come up with them. And every time we have to try to write over the impressions we already made until that becomes completely written over and that becomes a task we didn’t ask for.
Hi Shalini!
I loved this. What a unique and creative topic!

Wonderful writing, as always.
Yes I can imagine! You see the funny side of everything. It’s such a blessing!

I hope you’re having a beautiful day!
Thank you Kelly. I think I do understand you well enough to not need that explanation. Have a good day!

I’m laughing out loud, still. My sense of humor can be so ridiculous!
