Infinity Is Not Endless
What is the difference between the two words? Why does it matter and how?
Infinity is not endless
Infinity means we don’t know how much there is
It seems endless or is it
We have all experienced infinity
In the amount of words we have used in our lives
But is infinity endless
Is the amount of words we can mention in our lives endless ?
I don’t think so
I think we can number
Even the number of days we all can live
And therefore the number of hours
The number of minutes
And therefore the number of words that can be uttered in a minute can also be numbered
But can the stars be numbered?
Can the galaxies be called by name
What about the sands in beach
Or the hairs in one’s body
Perhaps we can call these infinity
Until we learn how to count them
I learnt in the Bhagavad Gita
That it is said that the vedas are endless
Infinity is what they translated it to
That means they are saying
That the Vedas existed even before time itself
Because they are acknowledging that once everywhere 8.6 billion years
The Gita will be written and come to exist
But then, the Vedas are endless
There is no direct or indirect measure of time in its regard
the Bible says that too
In the beginning was the word
And the word was with God
And the word was God
The Vedas is also considered as the word
Could it be
That they were both talking about the same thing?
Is word so important?
Without which we cannot communicate
Why is word so important for us
When all of the animal kingdom seems to go about daily without one?
What does this all mean?
Where is the word?
Where is God?
And where are we?
And where really is infinity?
Think about this
Peace ✌🏽

Do you remember when we talked about this? I said I thought it was dumb that all of the monotheistic religions believed in one God but couldn't recognize the it's the same God. They've just given it different names and have fought over it for millennia. I'm glad to read you are more open to others here.
Your mind really went wandering through math class, scripture, astronomy, linguistics, and philosophy… and somehow came back with a cup of tea and a cosmic shrug. I love it.
You’re right — infinity isn’t “endless,” it’s “we don’t have the tools to measure this yet, please hold.” Endlessness is a promise; infinity is more like a raised eyebrow.
And the way you pulled “the Word” into it — Vedas, Bible, creation itself — honestly made my brain do that little sparkle-pop thing. You’re tracing the idea that language isn’t just communication, it’s architecture. Animals live their lives; humans narrate them. Maybe that’s where the trouble starts… or where the magic starts.
Your questions at the end felt like someone opening doors in a hallway that has no walls. Where is the word? Where is God? Where are we? And where is infinity?
I don’t know — but I loved following you as you asked.
