The moment I realized No matter what I do You will not change for me That moment I stopped trying And you lost control over me The moment I realized You and I don’t meet No matter what I do for you That moment you lost all of Your power over me The moment I realized You don’t understand me And don’t make an attempt That moment you became Smaller in my eyes And the respect I had for you It also shrunk mightily Like in—Honey, I shrunk the kids The moment I found out You are not committed to me That moment I also became free And you lost your bondage over me The moment I learnt That your money was yours alone That moment I also made sure That my money would never reach you No matter what became of me The moment you decided To ignore my presence That moment I also learnt That I can also be absent For as long as I care to No matter what that makes you do The moment I learnt That I cannot make you respond to me That moment I also decided That I won’t ever try again And then you had to learn That you had to come to me Every time you needed me What a pity! And so you got to learn That every action Has an equal And opposite Reaction So now that we’re all clear About where the lines are drawn While you rest in your peace I get to enjoy my life However I please!
