Parents leave an indelible impression in the minds of children as they transcend life Children leave cute expressions that are carved forever into their parent’s minds Teachers leave tidbits of habits, disciplines even etiquette and ethics with their students Doctors leave patients with the gift of life Therapists help clients navigate workspace hardships separation divorce as such Lawyers bring them back home during turbulent times Ink can make a paper immortal Like the Declaration of Independence The constitution of the United States And the Bill of Rights all preserved in the National Archives Sculptors can make rocks immortal Like Mount Rushmore Great Sphinx of Giza Ancient Temples in India And Petra Man made the Taj Mahal The leaning tower of Pisa The Eiffel Tower The Great Wall of china Maachu Picchu And the Great Pyramids of Giza We all have a place and a talent to give each other and to the world designed primarily for us That’s the way to forwardness and freedom of expression and talent That’s the way to enjoy life from inside out We all have a choice to make a mark and whisper into another’s future We all have a choice to become immortal in this immortal world In people’s minds if not in pillars and statues around towns What have you created or destroyed that makes you immortal in another’s mind?
