Have you Questioned?

Are the sun, moon and stars 
fixed objects in heaven 
or do they come and go 
as they please 
across the skies?

Is the earth stationary 
as it seems 
or hurling across space 
at the speed of light?

Are objects on earth 
as they appear to be 
or am I seeing them 
with different eyes?

As you move across 
the dimensions of life, 
do people, places 
or even objects return 
to satisfy your mind?

Does the kite fly 
because it’s light? 
Or does it fly because 
there’s wind in the sky?

Who gets to decide 
which is truth 
and which is right?

Are scriptures god inspired 
or simply written by man 
to teach you to watch out 
for truth and lies? 

Or are they written down 
to keep you inside conch shells 
without thinking 
and acting 
with your mind?

What happens to us 
once we die? 
Do we really have a spirit 
that ascends up to the sky? 

Or do we just as simply 
leave 
never to return, 
never to question, 
never really live 
elsewhere either? 

Are we just 
done forever 
once we die on earth 
as we know it?

Who gets to decide 
which is truth 
and 
which are lies?

Who gets to decide 
which is morally right?

What’s the point 
of this life on earth?

How do we reconcile 
for what we have lost in life?

As you begin to question 
everything in life, 
wisdom will slowly come inside 
and move in with you 
as though it were alive.
