Half Full Also Means Half Empty
Don’t let the half empty hurt you beyond repair!
Half full and half empty
What does half knowledge do to us?
Right! It spoils us
It tells us things that may not be true
And makes us react to them unnecessarily
Half full also means half empty
The knowledge we have gained by going to school is also only half knowledge
We know how to count, add and subtract
Even multiply and divide and tell time
But do we know how long we will live or how healthy we will be until then?
Half full also means half empty!
Similarly—
We know how to talk to each other
How to say please and thank you
How to agree to disagree
Even how we should not lie or cheat or steal
But do we know how to serve another selflessly
Do we know how doing so will take us one step closer home to heaven when we leave earth?
Half full also means half empty!
We know so many things about science
About electricity, about the sun, the moon and the stars and so on
But do we know what will happen to our spirit once we leave this body on earth?
Where does heaven lie and how we can reach it?
Do we even know if there is such a thing as heaven
Or that our spirit lives on forever even after our bodies decay?
Half full and half empty ain’t no good!
Either find out more
Solve the riddles life throws at you now
Or you can repent at leisure once you leave from earth
And roam around in darkness and groan
But don’t assume you know everything as you assume about yourself today
What you know may be only about a hand full of sand at the beach
Just don’t let what you don’t know come back and bite you later!
Thunk about this
Peace ✌🏽

This text feels like a gentle warning, reminding us that knowledge is never whole, never complete.
The glass half full can inspire gratitude, but the half empty reveals the limits we prefer to ignore.
Schooling teaches us numbers and manners, yet leaves untouched the mysteries of love, health, and mortality.
We learn how to speak politely, but not always how to serve another with selfless care.
Science explains the stars, but cannot tell us where the spirit goes when the body fades.
The refrain “half full also means half empty” becomes a heartbeat, urging humility before the unknown.
True wisdom lies not in accumulation, but in compassion and openness to what we cannot yet see.
The text asks us to seek deeper truths now, before regret shadows our later steps.
It is a call to balance intellect with tenderness, certainty with curiosity, knowledge with faith.
Ultimately, it reminds us that the unknown is not an enemy, but a teacher waiting to be heard.
Shalini… you really said ‘half full, half empty — either way, don’t be reckless’ and honestly?
The way you turned a simple glass metaphor into a full cosmic warning had me nodding like a student who definitely didn’t do the homework.
Your little ‘think about this’ at the end felt like you tapped my shoulder and walked away dramatically.
Loved the energy.
