Everybody needs a sanctuary A place where they can rest and recharge Everybody needs sunshine That can wake them up and energize Everybody needs food That can make them grow and provide Everybody needs water That can hydrate and bring color Everybody needs exercise That can strengthen their muscles and keep them fit Everybody needs a smile That can walk them through life’s troubles Everybody needs a peaceful life That can make them kind and vulnerable Everybody needs joy in their hearts That can inspire them to be creative Everybody needs love in their hearts That can make them live an abundant life Everybody needs miracles That can make them believe in God Everybody needs children That can make them learn forgiveness Everybody needs parents That can give them good counsel from time to time Everybody needs teachers That can motivate them to do better in life Everybody needs peers That can give feedback and make them wise Everybody needs friends That can be there when life bothers Everybody needs everybody else So they can make the world a better place to live in Everybody needs God Who is an endless source of energy Without whom nobody Can survive in this world But not everybody understands this And that’s the reason for all the confusions And tensions in this world Everybody tries to draw energy From everybody else around them Because they don’t know that the only source of energy for all of us is God alone And in that ignorance Some try to take control Some try to lean on others Some try to meditate Some try to inculcate But nothing can take the place Of the original designer who designed us all To draw energy from Him alone God!
