Does Man Need To Suffer?

What Would An Ideal World Make of Man?

When we are subject to suffering
Many of the times we think
Why Lord why?
Why me? 
Why now?
But then we learn after the fact 
That the suffering we endured
Brought about learning 
Made a big difference in our lives
One way or another

Let’s face it
Suffering brings about understanding 
Suffering teaches empathy
Suffering takes away entitlement attitude
Suffering teaches you to be humble 
Strips away pride and privilege 
Makes you patient, gentle and teaches you compassion 

Suffering and only suffering can bring you down to earth 
Especially if you are only used to live in skyscrapers 
But is suffering essential for mankind?

Most of human suffering is caused by somebody’s carelessness 
Or jealousy 
Or cruelty due to fear over intelligence 
The list can go on…

But is there any suffering that is caused without man’s negligence as the reason?
Misunderstanding 
Ignorance 
And the like?

One’s controlling nature
His need to control everything 
Can cause suffering in those around him 
Because he would focus on keeping everything in his control 
And use any and all kinds of manipulation 
To cause suffering 
Including imposing consequences 
When expectations are not met 

One’s carelessness in driving 
Sleepiness 
Can cause multiple accidents

Negligence in careful performance of surgeries 
Or administration of the correct dosage of medications 
Even carelessness in applying gentle pressure 
On administering suctioning for instance 
Can cause suffering in patients 

One’s greed in possessing 
More than what is his requirement 
Can cause somebody to lose what he needs
And thereby cause his suffering also 

But all these can be corrected 
If proper techniques are utilized  
In teaching them to the students 
And proper precautions are observed 
According to the category mentioned 
At least the sufferings can be minimized 
To a great extent 

But assuming all suffering can be eliminated 
Would it be worth it to lose suffering altogether?
What would it make of man?
If suffering is eliminated completely?
And would it even be possible to do so?
