Get ready to leave

Conclusion is very much necessary 
For new beginnings
Without conclusion 
Life drags on endlessly 
In misery and sorrow 
Even for centuries 

How do you conclude something 
Conclusions don’t need drama 
Conclusions need peace
Conclusions need meaning 
To let go finally and say goodbye 

What in your life needs to conclude now
To let go and say goodbye to?
There’s something in everybody’s life 
To say good bye to right now 

Be it a habit you are lingering to
For a very long time 
An addiction that you couldn’t let go of 
until now 

Or a person very important 
You hitched up for a ride 
You held on and dragged on 
Without being able to let go

Somebody or something always needs to go 
So somebody else or something else can take their place to make you grow 
We all need some nudging 
Somebody to tell us it’s time 

Consider this your nudge also 
To finally breathe out 
And say goodbye
