Circle or square, oval or rectangle What shape do you like and why You see this is important Very important I’ll tell you why in just a second It had an oval shape The one I fell in love with I knew this always but I didn’t realize it until today But then the one I took in The one I homed in with It had a round shape or should I call it a rectangle? It’s the kind where the cheeks project out of the whole structure And make it an odd pear shape Kind of I homed in with it Because I thought I shouldn’t discriminate Based on the shape God, how wrong I was! Shape matters! Coz ever since that There has been no peace The shape doesn’t bring me peace The shape only annoys Every time I see it Could it be the shape? That doesn’t fit well Into my minds eye And causes sleepless nights? I wonder Shape!
