Briefcase: What Does It Contain
Your Briefcase?

What is a briefcase: It is a holder of objects mostly important official or personal paperwork and documents that need to be kept in a safe space.
My dad had a brown leather briefcase that was so beautiful. Somebody had gifted him with it. I couldn’t not ask for it. I brought it home with me in one of my trips back home to see him.
My dad didn’t object. Today it is perhaps the only treasured possession I have that is uniquely his and precious. I have kept it safe with me throughout the years.
Today it houses all my jewelry. Again those are the precious possessions I got from home during my marriage. It is called dowry. The jewelry. The women don’t leave home without dowry in the form of jewelry. They are important because they can be life saving during financial situations. They can be used to protect families with money during financial insecurity. It’s a good practice when looked at it like that.
But it’s not looked like that usually. People expect women to come to their homes with money or jewelry, or both, along with appliances, furniture and mattresses everything a woman needs to start a new life in a new home. The woman’s house sends these with her to the groom’s home which is usually well-equipped already and is not in need of any of these. But that’s a topic for another day.
Let’s talk about the briefcase again for a moment.
My briefcase contains my most treasured and valuable possessions. The briefcase is itself valuable as it was my dad’s who passed away recently a couple years ago and I miss him so much. But that’s not what I wanted to talk about today either.
I wanted to talk about what are your most valuable and treasured possessions?
For me, it’s my children. And perhaps my siblings, my mom and one of my friends.
What’s in your briefcase?
Think about this!
Peace ✌️
