Breaking Ain’t Bad: It’s For Decomposing, Releasing, Freeing!
Have You Been Broken?
My daughter is on spring break and she is bored at home. So I took her to the library and got her a bunch of books about animals and one of them talked about what is the meaning of rotting. To make kids understand them, the author started off with composing, how when a child builds a set of blocks, he is composing just like when Mozart arranged a set of notes and composed music.
Having understood that, the author then talked about decomposing by using the same things as blocks and music to explain how taking apart the blocks can be called decomposing and while doing so, he talked about how fungi and bacteria and some insects help in the process of decomposing.
What he was saying is that in the natural order of things, nothing gets wasted. When things break down, they are getting decomposed and releasing all the parts. So now the parts are all freed up as in the building blocks where the blocks which were once tightly bound together now became free and available to be used again however the child wanted to use them to build whatever he wanted to build again.
I found this analogy extremely interesting. What if our lives were also like that? Once we were tightly bound within the realm of a family. We had to take care of our children while they grew up. Now that process is over and complete, along with it came the breaking as well. The breaking was for good since it released us and made us free again. Nothing to bind us down and keep us tied to a pillar or structure.
Now it’s time to use the freedom bestowed by the breaking to soar above, scale new heights, see what is possible and how to dream and achieve them for the benefit of the world!
The breaking was for good!
The decomposing was for good!
The freedom is good!
It’s time to reconstruct to bring about change. It’s time to reconstruct to go above and beyond what was once and use the talents, skills and abilities bestowed in the process to bring something to the world.
I’m ready. I’m excited. How about you?
Think about this!
Cheers!

Love the idea of linking decomposition to freedom, profound idea really ❤️
