Blessings blessings blessings The world is filled with blessings From the sunshine and vitamin D To the rain and water we need From the oceans and rivers To sustain life on land The wood in the trees The forests which meet all our needs All the microcosm which we can’t even see Yet without them there ain’t any harmony How water makes up so much of our bodies And without which we cannot live or move Plants plants plants Greens that nourish all our bodies needs In cleaning our insides Restoring our outsides What a pleasant sight makes green! Every color there to excel And prove its worth “Me me me” says the sky “Without me you won’t be in peace” Yes agreed! Walking on a beach Daring the ocean to reach Becoming children of the earth again Even dolphins show up sometimes with their click click click and dives How sweet! The stars at night Shining like a thousand diamonds And the moon —she stands apart Like a bejeweled crown I can keep star gazing all night What a pleasant sight! And if one is lucky The birds, the butterflies Have you seen the blue dragonflies? They come to you to show off their brilliant shine Metals show off too Diamonds and gold embedded under our feet Oil without which our world would stop functioning What a marvelous engineering! The tar on the roads The earth filled with rocks Granites, marbles How they adorn homes! Look at the Taj Mahal You haven’t lived until you’ve visited it at least once in your life! Blessings blessings blessings All around us Every man every woman every child Stocked up with love, warmth, beauty, smiles and delight! Creation is filled with blessings abundant Yet man feels insecure enough to plunder all earth and go to war over land, water and waste Oil, gold, and paper used for trade All life is wasted Climate change is real ! Blessings are everywhere all around us If we can stop to smell the roses We can all live together in peace Samadhi is not becoming one with God It is becoming one with the earth If we can work with what we have been blessed with We can become one with the universe as intended Simply just like that— Bliss!
