Are you satisfied with the status quo of your life?

I can almost smell it
That you are unhappy
Dissatisfied 
There’s plenty of disappointment there
And discouragement 

The grass is always greener on the other side 
She has a better spouse 
He has an attractive wife
He listens to his wife and they have a smooth life
She listens to her husband and is obedient and understanding of him 

Tell me the truth 
Will you be satisfied
If your husband or wife
Boss or employee 
Son or daughter 
Behaves the way 
You want them to be?

Will life become glorious then?
For how long will it be 
Until you start looking outside again 
And finding joy there instead of here?

Think deeply within 
I’m talking to those of you
Who are deeply dissatisfied 
With the status quo
Of your life
I want you to take a day or two
And ask yourself this question 

Will you be satisfied 
With him or her
If they become to you
What you want them to

Will you then submit to them
As they want you to
If so, for how long 
Will it be forever?
Or would you start looking outside again
And make yourself dissatisfied again?

Think about this!
