Anybody Can Be Misled
But We Need to Stand Up for Our Children
When we don’t know the truth as it exists We can be easily misled Anybody can be misled Intelligence has nothing to do with this Do you know if God exists? Isn’t it just your belief that He does? How do you know if God exists If He doesn’t show Himself to us Why doesn’t He show us Himself Why does He hide behind a veneer If He has created the whole universe Intelligently demonstrated in its design Why doesn’t He claim His right To His title His ownership Who is going to say no to Him If He is suddenly appears? If He doesn’t appear What is His plan His design for those of us out here? If there is a God indeed Why doesn’t He order Why does He allow bad things to happen To some of us alone? There’s so much to unpack So many logics can come out of this question There’s so many religious is in the world That decided to do just that But who really knows the answer? Has anybody seen God face to face? Who can say they have? Isn’t it all an experience which makes us put a name to it? Why then does man want to use that To gain access and control Isn’t that what every religion In the end is all about? If there is no right or wrong Who gets to decide Who gets to say this is right And this is wrong Who gets to claim ownership of that? We see that killing isn’t right We see that consent is needed in sex We see that children cannot know what’s best for them And yet we also say All is fair in love and war So tell me which is right And which is wrong? And who gets to decide that? We point the finger at the MAGA men But have you ever tried to listen to their side of the story? Have you ever tried to sit them down And tried to make them know yours? Why should the world suffer If all the truth there is is greed? Who gets to make sense to men Who have lost their mind to false beliefs? If there is such a thing as truth and lie Why is there a disconnect Why is it hard to talk things out And make any impact? If your child misbehaves Would you let him go on like that ? Wouldn’t you sit him down And try to make him understand Why is it the leaders can’t do that? There’s leaders all over the world ain’t there? Why can’t they simply arrest And reason out with the dumb among them And bring them up to speed? If they can’t do this much for the world Why are they sitting presidents Or prime minsters or members of the congress ? If all the world is only focused on greed Then what’s the point of wisdom If street smarts can exist and make a difference Why can’t wise men do anything likewise? The world is going like an avalanche Speedily towards destruction And everybody seems to be focused on Only on living for the present Can we all just stop for a minute Suspend all your personal thoughts And think about the world instead? It’s as if we are accelerating towards a behemoth asteroid and yet nobody seems concerned Nobody even cares Nobody wants to do anything To prevent going there Why? What’s wrong with all of us? Please can we just STOP all this BS? And focus on decelerating from destruction Everything else can wait can’t it? What’s the urgency with them again? Let those who have to focus on making their ends meet Let them do that Will the rest stop all the nonsense And start paying attention to this We are the world The world is us If we can’t help ourselves Who will? God? Which God? Your God or mine or his or hers? Please tell me know Let’s ask him how He plans to help us from Doom? If schools cannot teach us How to confront a stupid man Then what are they in business for? Please just STOP! Stop what you are doing Get together with your family Get together with your friends Get together with your Collegues And discuss this first How are we going to turn this around In our favor? How are we going to make an impact For this world we call our own If we don’t do this now If we don’t work together Will there be a future For our children in this world? We’ve witnessed the internet We’ve witnessed the proliferation of cell phones We’ve witnessed the rise of smart phones We’ve witnessed the pandemic And the Trumps of the world We’re uniquely positioned To take on the world Can we stop everything And work towards that? Please?
