Another Night Another Dream
This Time About Scaffolding

Another night another dream This time I am standing inside a room There’s a scaffolding outside it And a tear where I stand— A wide opening It’s inviting me to step outside Through the scaffolding And walk through it And go upfront To another scaffolding Where the real deal is I peek out from where I am standing It doesn’t appear dangerous at all Even though once I step out from where I am at There will be the danger of falling off If I am not careful enough As I am standing looking beyond me Wondering if I should do it Step outside that is The stranger, he’s here beside me Behind me offering to help me do it Should I do it? What do you think? Wisdom is screaming—NOOOOOO But pleasure is saying—Goooooo Enjoy yourself You won’t know if you like it unless you step out and see for yourself What have you to lose? It’s a skill, it’s a desire You’ve got to take it slow You’ve got to apply mindfulness everyday To your entire existence Choosing wisely as you go along Not obstructing your path where you be going While at the same time Not missing out on anything that presents itself to you To enjoy this life The only one you’ve be given Presented with Embracing it Willing it To happen to you As best as it can Where have you been so far? Until now? Have you been far enough? Have you moved your butt at all? Or have you chosen to remain stuck Where you belong Until heaven passes out Another fat chance Or just drops you And moves on It’s enticing, isn’t it Inviting perhaps to think— What have you to lose? Just do it! Think about this! Peace ✌️
